Guru Paduka Stotram is a stotra depicting the significance of the Lotus Feet of Guru. A guru is a teacher and a master of religious doctrine or experiential wisdom.

The guru is seen as the one who “dispels the darkness of ignorance”.

गुरु पादुका स्तोत्रं

अनन्तसंसार समुद्रतार नौकायिताभ्यां गुरुभक्तिदाभ्याम् ।
वैराग्यसाम्राज्यदपूजनाभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 1 ॥

Anantasansāra samudratāra naukāyitābhyāṁ gurubhaktidābhyām.
Vairāgyasāmrājyadapūjanābhyāṁ namō namaḥ śrīgurupādukābhyām. 1.

कवित्ववाराशिनिशाकराभ्यां दौर्भाग्यदावां बुदमालिकाभ्याम् ।
दूरिकृतानम्र विपत्ततिभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 2 ॥

kavitvavaaraashinishaakaraabhyaan daurbhaagyadaavaan budamaalikaabhyaam .
doorikrtaanamr vipattatibhyaan namo namah shreegurupaadukaabhyaam . 2

नता ययोः श्रीपतितां समीयुः कदाचिदप्याशु दरिद्रवर्याः ।
मूकाश्र्च वाचस्पतितां हि ताभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 3 ॥

nata yayoh shreepatitaan sameeyuh kadaachidapyaashu daridravaryaah .
mookaashrch vaachaspatitaan hi taabhyaan namo namah shri guru padukabhyam . 3

नालीकनीकाश पदाहृताभ्यां नानाविमोहादि निवारिकाभ्याम् ।
नमज्जनाभीष्टततिप्रदाभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 4 ॥

Nālīkanīkāśa padāhr̥tābhyāṁ nānāvimōhādi nivārikābhyām.
Namajjanābhīṣṭatatipradābhyāṁ namō namaḥ śrīgurupādukābhyām. 4.

नृपालि मौलिव्रजरत्नकान्ति सरिद्विराजत् झषकन्यकाभ्याम् ।
नृपत्वदाभ्यां नतलोकपङ्कते: नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 5 ॥

nrpaali maulivrajaratnakaanti saridviraajat jhashakanyakaabhyaam .
nrpatvadaabhyaan natalokapankate: namo namah shri guru padukabhyam . 5

पापान्धकारार्क परम्पराभ्यां तापत्रयाहीन्द्र खगेश्र्वराभ्याम् ।
जाड्याब्धि संशोषण वाडवाभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 6 ॥

Pāpāndhakārārka paramparābhyāṁ tāpatrayāhīndra khagēśrvarābhyām.
Jāḍyābdhi sanśōṣaṇa vāḍavābhyāṁ namō namaḥ śrīgurupādukābhyām. 6.

शमादिषट्क प्रदवैभवाभ्यां समाधिदान व्रतदीक्षिताभ्याम् ।
रमाधवान्ध्रिस्थिरभक्तिदाभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 7 ॥

shamaadishatk pradavaibhavaabhyaan samaadhidaan vratadeekshitaabhyaam .
ramaadhavaandhristhirabhaktidaabhyaan namo namah shri guru padukabhyam . 7 .

स्वार्चापराणाम् अखिलेष्टदाभ्यां स्वाहासहायाक्षधुरन्धराभ्याम् ।
स्वान्ताच्छभावप्रदपूजनाभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 8 ॥

svaarchaaparaanaam akhileshtadaabhyaan svaahaasahaayaakshadhurandharaabhyaam .
svaantaachchhabhaavapradapoojanaabhyaan namo namah shri guru padukabhyam . 8

कामादिसर्प व्रजगारुडाभ्यां विवेकवैराग्य निधिप्रदाभ्याम् ।
बोधप्रदाभ्यां दृतमोक्षदाभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ 9 ॥

kaamaadisarp vrajagaarudaabhyaan vivekavairaagy nidhi padukabhyam .
bodhapradaabhyaan drtamokshadaabhyaan namo namah shri guru padukabhyam . 9

Some seekers also love to recite the Guru Paduka Panchakam.

श्रीगुरुपादुकापञ्चकम् 

ॐ नमो गुरुभ्यो गुरुपादुकाभ्यो
नमः परेभ्यः परपादुकाभ्यः ।
आचार्य-सिद्धेश्वर-पादुकाभ्यो
नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्यः ॥ १॥

om namo gurubhyo gurupaadukaabhyo
namah' parebhyah' parapaadukaabhyah' .
aachaarya-siddheshvara-paadukaabhyo

ainkaara-hreenkaara-rahasyayukta -
shreenkaara-good'haartha-mahaavibhootyaa .
onkaara-marma-pratipaadineebhyaam'

होत्राग्नि-हौत्राग्नि-हविष्य-होतृ-
होमादि-सर्वाकृति-भासमानम् ।
यद्ब्रह्म तद्बोधवितारिणीभ्यां
नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ ३॥

hotraagni-hautraagni-havishya-hotri'-
homaadi-sarvaakri'ti-bhaasamaanam .
yadbrahma tadbodhavitaarineebhyaam'

That which causes Hothra fire, Houthra fire and offerings in it

That which is the reason for luster of fire offerings

That which is Bramham and all its forms that is spread

कामादिसर्पव्रजगारुडाभ्यां
विवेकवैराग्यनिधिप्रदाभ्याम् ।
बोधप्रदाभ्यां द्रुतमोक्षदाभ्यां
नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥ ४॥

kaamaadisarpavrajagaarud'aabhyaam'
vivekavairaagyanidhipradaabhyaam .
bodhapradaabhyaam' drutamokshadaabhyaam'
namo namah' shreegurupaadukaabhyaam .. 4..

That which cures passion  as well  as serpent  poison

That which gives the treasure of wisdom and detachment

That which teaches and takes you with speed to salvation

नौकायिताभ्यां स्थिरभक्तिदाभ्याम् ।
जाड्याब्धि-संशोषण-वाडवाभ्यां

ananta-sam'saara-samudrataara-
naukaayitaabhyaam' sthirabhaktidaabhyaam .
jaad'yaabdhi-sam'shoshana-vaad'avaabhyaam'
